Travis Harper II

Travis Harper is a recent graduate of Harvard University and a paralegal at KLLF. Prior to joining the team, Travis interned at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, assisting ADAs in ongoing cases and analyzing the impact of criminal justice reform measures in the Data Analytics and Research Unit. Additionally, Travis collaboratively designed and piloted the Judicial Advocacy Team at March For Our Lives, a national youth-led gun violence prevention organization. Alongside three other undergraduates, Travis helped file multiple amicus briefs at the appellate level, up to and including the Supreme Court, centering the stories of gun violence survivors in order to demonstrate the wide-ranging implications of guns in public spaces.

At Harvard, Travis double majored in Social Studies and African-American Studies, crafting a focus field around legal advocacy for underserved Black and gender-marginalized communities. Outside the classroom, Travis competed on the Harvard Mock Trial Team. Along with winning over 20 individual awards as a competitor, Travis captained the team for multiple years. In his tenure as Captain, the team saw a top-10 Nationals finish, two National Final Round appearances, and a National Championship. Besides Mock Trial, Travis sang baritone for the Harvard Opportunes, an award-winning a cappella group.

In his free time, Travis loves spending time with friends in the park, reading theory, philosophy, and young adult fiction, and serving as a pro bono private chef for his roommates.
