KLLF Files Lawsuit on Behalf of Scott Minton, Exoneree Who Spent 31 Years in Prison

On December 9, 2025, KLLF filed a civil rights complaint on behalf of Scott Minton, who was exonerated of an alleged 1993 sexual assault and robbery of a woman in Bradley County, Tennessee.

Mr. Minton was exonerated through the efforts of the Innocence Project and the Tennessee Innocence Project and released in January 2025 after spending 31 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.
