Ericka Familia is a paralegal at KLLF and a graduate of Harvard College. Ericka is currently in the second year of her two-year deferral period before attending Harvard Law School. During the first year of her deferral, Ericka completed the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) program in Taiwan, where she taught English at a public elementary school and helped organize and lead English workshops for students across Taichung City.

At Harvard College, Ericka earned a B.A. in Social Studies with a focus on Latin American history and racial identity, along with a minor in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights, and a citation in Mandarin Chinese. While in college, Ericka interned at Sanctuary for Families, where she assisted survivors of domestic violence in obtaining orders of protection. She was also an intern at Greater Boston Legal Services, where she supported attorneys representing children who had been denied disability benefits by the Social Security Administration.

When not at the office, you can find Ericka lifting weights, traveling, or reading a good book on the New York City subway.
